I'm finally starting to take notice of things other than what's in front of me. Hence, not being able to sleep at night until like almost 2am.

Yeah I know I haven't been updating my blog regularly, but then again I don't really have a lot of time to nowadays.

Ok, so I'm learning a lot of dances nowadays, as you can tell from the sidebar thingy. Let me just take this moment to say that Kuuzen Miman wa Misenaide is by far the hardest dance that I've ever had to learn. It makes Motteke! Serafuku look like that Macross Frontier 'dance' Nyan Nyan.

Ok so anyways, I'm taking a look at some of the Para Para dances, and I've picked two to learn, since I like the songs they're danced to. Oh, and for some reason, people are saying that when I blog, I talk completely unlike a teenager. R u srs?

Pardon my language, but I really have to rant. You don't have to read it.

I am aware that all you guys want hawt anime girls in your bed, but if you're trying to find one in RL you're gonna get disappointed. Women in the real world don't have gravity-defying large breasts with a miniscule waist and toothpick legs and arms, with long flowy hair (i.e Mikuru Asahina). And not every woman is willing to worship you like you're their god, you've obviously been watching too much hentai.

I speak for a few of my friends that have been told by their boyfriends that they should lay off certain food, or start exercising more, or any of that bullshit, as well as the few that have been told by the guy they like that they would never date them because of the way they act, or whatever.

Tell me, just when did almost every guy become so damn superficial?

There are the occasional female willing to do anything for their boyfriend or for any male, but don't expect every girl to be that way. And don't you even dare ask a girl to diet, or any of that other fudgin' crap, because if you tell that to me I am just going to want to rip your brain out.

1. Why do you dislike #11 so much?
For starters, the age difference. Basch was around from the days of when Ashe was growing up in the palace, to her wedding, to her beloved husband's demise. Going through all that, I'd think he'd be more of a father or elder brother figure to Ashe than a lover or husband. But that's just this pathetic human's thoughts on the pairing.

2. Who do you know that ships #13?
Quite a lot of people, actually. I think there's probably more shippers for them than there is for Colette/Lloyd.

3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3?
Being at home together, Kurenai probably with a book, and Asuma just watching tv or something. And not forgetting their kid! The very picture of a family.

4. What is your favorite moment for #1?
The little moments in TOS OVA 2? The skit where he had to use First Aid because of her cooking? Her "Internal strife? How pathetic." comment? I can't pick! I just love these two together!

5. How long have you been following couple #6?
Since I caught on on the subtle flirting Balthier was doing, and the fact that I had always suspected that they were together.

6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring?
I don't know, really. I think after a while, I just found Marian to be a more of a motherly figure to him than a lover. *shrug* (AND MY FANGIRLING OVER HIM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. KTHXBAI.)

7. Which ship do you prefer--#2 or #4?
Ashe/Rasler, hands down. I'm all for a broken romance, but these two really just hold a special place in my heart.

8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12.
Raine/Regal. A part of me doesn't really give a damn about Sasuke or Sakura so if they want to go get married and have kids, that's their problem. I just can't stand the fact that everyone pairs Raine with Regal because Kratos is on Derris Kharlan. It's stupid. There's no chemistry.

9. What interests you about #14?
I BLAME A PERSON ON DEVIANTART FOR THIS. She did a few Larsa/Penelo photomanips, and after a while I'd just go 'aww' everytime I see a fanart of them or something. They do look cute together anyway. *grin*

10. When did you stop liking #7?
I guess I stopped liking it after a few playthroughs when I had Sheena as my highest affection, and Sheena/Lloyd seems to be able to last longer than Sheena/Zelos IMO. Zelos can't just reserve himself for one woman, he needs to have 'em all!

11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series?
I think it was my waning interest in the series that killed me interest in the pairing. Sometimes I'd watch the series again for teh lulz, but I think I've moved on from them.

12. What's a song that reminds you of #5?
"Good Enough" by Evanescence.

13. Which of these ships do you love the most right now?
It's a tie between Kratos/Raine and Ashe/Rasler. One of them had captured my heart for a couple years now, and the other one just found their place there mid last year, when I got the game.

14. Which do you dislike the most?
Tie between Raine/Regal and Ashe/Basch.

15. If you could have any of these pairings double date, who would they be?
Asuma/Kurenai and Fran/Balthier. Balthier would be hitting on Kurenai, Fran would get all annoyed, Asuma would get even more annoyed, he and Balthier would start fighting, Kurenai and Fran would just continue talking among themselves, not bothering about what their men are doing.

16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if yes.
YES, HELL YES. They've married, for Faram's sake.

17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely?
No, they didn't. Unfortunately she's dead, but hey, Yuuri is still alive, maybe he could just focus on protecting him?

I need to playthrough FFXII again, and find as many Larsa/Penelo hints as I can. (I'd actually thought Larsa was a girl when he first came into my party as 'Lamont')

Ashe/Rasler already happened, so I'd have to go with Fran/Balthier.

Anti-SasuGAY. He annoys me to heck, and is the lamest little emofag. *gets thrashed by fangirls* Sorry, I think he's awesome and all, just that...he annoys me. Seriously.

Yup. Well, almost. Missing a couple.

No...unfortunately I only turn to the manga if I hear of someone's death.

Sub. The original voice actors are perfect! Although the dub isn't too bad either. The only flaw it has is "BELIEVE IT!"

Naruto Photoshoot

On 16th November we had a Naruto photoshoot at the Japanese Gardens. I'd like to thank Mizuki (a.k.a Hinata) for organizing the shoot! It was so much fun!

A few things to say to you all:

Naruto ~chibi~ - Candice : You are so CUTE! I really think the younger Naruto suits you better, though. ^-^

Naruto - Acedemond : ...One day I swear I'm going to murder you one day. But you were fun anyhow. xD

Sasuke - Raidaime : You are so different on MSN. Lol. Love the Sharingan.

Hinata - Mizuki : You are so awesome at organizing shoots. PRACTICE SAIKYOU PARE PARADE. : D

Kisame - Tenma : Hah...you gave us quite a scare with your muscle pull. Take care, okay? :3

Deidara - Yosuke : Your wig was not behaving that day, but you still looked good, don't worry.

Sasori - situ : I really don't know you that well, we need to hang out moar! D:

Kakashi - ILANLAN : Haha, you were so tense when we did that back-to-back shot. Loved that mini-shoot though. We need moar jounins!

Gaara - xoxoJoyce : YOU LOOKED SO PERFECT. Don't worry about screwing your eyeliner, you looked awesome anyhow.

Kiba - Chloe : PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TORTURING AKAMARU OR I WILL TORTURE YOU. THANK YOU.

...I think that's everybody. All in all, Kurenai would like to thank you all for putting up with her 'abuse' the entire day. I hope none of you got any bruises. : D

We should all get together and hang out sometime!

The Novels of the Twelve Houses [Reviews]

I just finished the latest installment of the Twelve Houses series by Sharon Shinn. Here's what I think of it:

WARNING! THIS IS NOT SPOILER-FREE! Read at your own risk.

Favorite book in the series: Reader & Raelynx
By far the most exciting book in the series, that kept me heading back to it after lunch, and 'hibernating' in my room until I was finished. A lot of deaths in this book, the most important death being the one of King Baryn. I was also entirely surprized by the death of Tayse's father, Tir, the man who was titled 'undefeatable'.

Favorite character(s): Senneth Brassenthwaite.
She is such an awesome and powerful woman, completely selfless and willing to sacrifice herself in battle. It's truly a rarity to find a noble that is such a person, much less enchanted with mystical sorcery.

Favorite couple(s): Senneth/Tayse, Kirra/Donnal, crack!Justin/Kirra/Donnal

Looks like Ellynor didn't turn out to be such a pain after all. She's of great use in Reader & Raelynx, and she's married to Justin, and is pregnant with his child/children. I want Senneth and Tayse to have kids, dammit! Anyway, Kirra and Donnal have consummated their relationship after three long books of waiting for them to actually admit they loved each other. Cammon falls for the princess, and is forced to be named noble at the end of the book as she would take no one else but him as her husband, and King.

Nothing else to say, really, if there's anything else to add in future I will edit the post.

Finally, if you haven't heard of Sharon Shinn or this amazing series, I strongly reccommend you get them now. Borders has the first three books, fourth and not-yet-released fifth book have to be ordered from Amazon or somewhere if you feel like you want to complete the series. The fifth book, Fortune & Fate, will be released in Hardcover on November 4th 2008, expect the paperback late next year. (I'm not gonna wait till then.)

I just got a PS2 yesterday after months/almost a year of waiting. Since I don't have any games yet, I've borrowed a few from Takari/Tabatha:

Yeaaah, I'm really not the type to camwhore, so my journal will probably not look like everybody else's on SGCafe. xD
Anyway, the games I've borrowed are:

-Devil May Cry 3 -Special Edition- (YES, DMC3. NOW I CAN PLAYTHROUGH THAT AWESOME PREQUEL BEFORE I PLAY DMC4 AT TAKARI'S HOUSE)

-Final Fantasy VII -Dirge of Cerebus- (asdfghjkl; YES. VINCENT VALENTINE. <3)

-Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 (!@#$ YEAH. I GET TO BEAT PEOPLE UP WITH THE ONLY BADASS JOUNIN KUNOICHI)

-Shining Force EXA (Not a bad game, but she actually just wanted me to playthrough it, because she's stuck at some place. Cyrille's spells are awesome, and they're voiced by a lot of Tales seiyuus...)

Oh, and just what is Vincent & Lucrecia's relationship? I may want to cosplay Lucrecia one day, if she turns out to have an awesome storyline at the end.

Well, at least I'm rewarding you all with a new layout! Final Fantasy XII, Ashe & Rasler. <3 One of my favorite pairings in the FF series.

Yeah, okay, so about that ConJul iconset, I'm almost done. I have a lot of unfinished batches:

-Kyou Kara Maou! Conrad & Julia
-Tales of Vesperia

Yeah, yeah go ahead, brick me. *hands you bricks* But the plus side is I'm 60% finished with the TOS batch, and 75% finished with the KKM batch. Vesperia hasn't even been started on yet...

Anyway, I don't report on a lot of events anymore, because I think this journal will be for posting graphics and the occasional rant every now and then. Unless I feel like it, which I probably won't. >.>
